Grab your girlfriend brigade for this spring's biggest party! From shopping galore to guest speakers, the show provides the perfect venue for a day, or evening, out with your girlfriends.
Presented by Ralphs, this ultimate party weekend for women brings together a wealth of industries that cater to women, providing opportunities for rejuvenation, inspiration, shopping and entertainment. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy the creations of 30 fashion designers, 25 boutique jewelers, glamorous fashion shows, gourmet food samples and cooking demonstrations, guest speakers, health and financial resources, home décor items and ideas, and the ultimate pampering -- complimentary makeovers.
The girls weekend kicks off Friday at noon with celebrity fitness guru Sara Holliday, MFT, CPT, who will be discussing the "Secrets to Celebrity Abs." Holliday, a licensed marriage and family therapist, life and fitness coach and holistic health practitioner, will help San Diego ladies get ready for swimsuit season with tricks used on the stars.

Rachel Ray can give you the 30-minute meal, Charlene Davis and Lorraine Hoon, Founders of Setting Traditions can give you the 10-minute Table! Learn how to "dress up" your serving or dining area for upcoming seasonal occasions, including Showers, Mothers Day Brunch, Bunko Parties, Birthday Celebrations, Graduations, and Fourth of July.
On Saturday, April 21, the show's annual luncheon will take place at 11:30 a.m. with keynote speaker 100.7 Jack FM's Monique Marvez from the "Monique in the Man" morning show. Published by local Carlsbad-based Hay House, Monique has a book coming out in August, titled Not Skinny, Not Blonde, a heart-wrenching, hilarious memoir, which she'll discuss at the show. The price for the Friday kick-off luncheon is $45.00, which includes a weekend pass to get into the show along with the keynote presentation. A portion of the luncheon proceeds will go to Habitat for Humanity San Diego (www.habitatsdiego.org). Also on Saturday, for the first time, the show will feature a Garden Party at 1:30 p.m. Guests can participate in spring potting seminars by sisters and master gardeners Barbara McFadden and Brenda Goush, the minds behind Sisters Specialty Gardens (www.sistersgardenroom.com). McFadden and Goush will also teach visitors how to make centerpieces, perfect for a wedding, engagement party or spring gathering.
On Sunday, April 22 at 1:00 p.m., soap star Aiden Turner who currently plays the role of "Aiden Devane" on the ABC daytime television drama series, All My Children, will appear on stage. Prior to his
life as an actor, Turner entered culinary school to pursue his love of cooking. This spring, he will launch a cookbook called "Soap Dish," which consists of Aiden's favorite recipes, cast mate recipes, a behind-the-scenes look at his daily life along with his personal fitness program.
Throughout the show, the Head to Toe Culinary Stage will boast local culinary masters Carol Blomstrom of Lotsa Pasta, Jason Miller of Pacific Coast Grill, Reuben Medina of Crest Cafe and Clay Bordan of Clay's La Jolla, as well as Kevin Dean from KyXy's radio cooking segment Kevin's Kitchen, to name a few.
