**The Head To Toe Women's Expo returns, April 20-22**
San Diego, Calif. -- Party with your girlfriends at the annual Head to Toe Women's Expo at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, April 20, 21 and 22, 2007. Grab your girlfriend brigade for this spring's biggest party! From inspiring speakers to the fun-filled Margarita & Magazine Lounge, there's something for everyone.
Presented by Ralphs, this ultimate party weekend for women brings together a wealth of industries that cater to women, providing opportunities for rejuvenation, inspiration, shopping and entertainment. The show provides the perfect venue for a day, or evening, out with your girlfriends. And when you're all shopped-out, hang out in the Margarita & Magazine Lounge and make a toast to your closest gal pals.
On Saturday, April 21, the show's annual luncheon will take place at 11:30 a.m. with keynote speaker 100.7 Jack FM's Monique Marvez from the "Monique in the Man" morning show. Published by local Carlsbad-based Hay House, Monique has a book coming out in August, titled Not Skinny, Not Blonde, a heart-wrenching, hilarious memoir, which she'll discuss at the show.
Also appearing on stage Saturday at 1:30 p.m. is soap star Aiden Turner who currently plays the role of "Aiden Devane" on the ABC daytime television drama series, All My Children. Prior to his life as an actor, while attending St. Edmund's College in London, England, Turner entered culinary school to pursue his love of cooking. This spring, he will launch a cookbook called "Soap Dish," which consists of Aiden's favorite recipes, cast mate recipes, a behind-the-scenes look at his daily life along with his personal fitness program.
On Sunday, April 22, for the first time, the show will feature a Garden Party at 1:00 p.m. Guests can participate in spring potting seminars and learn how to make centerpieces, perfect for a wedding, engagement party or spring gathering.
This year, brides-to-be can also experience the ultimate Bridal Party as the Head to Toe Women's Expo will feature its first annual bridal showcase. With an array of bridal features and resources, San Diego brides, bridesmaids and Mother's of the Bride can witness this year's hottest designs in bridal fashion, including table top displays, cake and chocolate tastings, and floral arrangements.
"The Head to Toe Women's Expo has become San Diego's largest women's event, and the place that women can get the latest in salon and spa services, home décor, cooking demonstrations and fashion all in one place," said Debbie Adelman and Rosemarie Gibson, co-producers of the show. "Nowhere else can women experience and enjoy so many of their interests in one location, at one time. Together, with their friends, sisters and mothers, they can enjoy it all in one-stop-shop."
This is an extraordinary event not to be missed. Show hours run: Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tickets, available at the door, are $8.00 for adults, $6.00 for seniors (on Friday only), and children under 12-years old are free. Parking is $9.00 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. The price for the Friday kick-off luncheon is $45.00, which includes a weekend pass to get into the show, the keynote presentation and a complimentary gift.
