A HOLLYWOOD SUPERSTAR AND GUEST AUTHOR
ARE JUST TWO OF THE GUESTS AT THIS YEAR’S INAUGURAL
HEAD TO TOE WOMEN’S HOLIDAY SHOW

*Pamper Yourself at the Head to Toe Women’s Expo Holiday Show,
November 10, 11 & 12 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds*

San Diego, Calif. – The word is spreading. The Head to Toe Women’s Expo Holiday Show is THE place to pamper yourself before the holiday season hits. Even Shelley Morrison, best known for her role as the Salvadoran maid Rosario on the NBC comedy television series Will & Grace, will be in attendance at the inaugural holiday show, coming to the Del Mar Fairgrounds, November 10, 11 and 12, 2006.

With the huge success of their first two shows, the Head to Toe Women’s Expo expands for its second show of the year. This first-ever holiday show will boast a plethora of local, industry and celebrity chefs, authors and guests, including Morrison, who has been a theater and television actress since the early 1960s and will be featured on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

It all starts with a kick-off luncheon on Friday, November 10 with key-note speaker Michelle Anton, a former producer for the famed Dr. Laura, and author of Weekend Entrepreneur: 101 Great Ways to Earn Extra Cash. She will be talking about ways women can have it all, giving women tips to start a new career doing the things they love. So many moms struggle with trying to balance a career, home and motherhood; Anton will give women support and ideas to take the leap.

With two stages that inspire, educate and entertain, there’s something for every woman. Style Stage highlights include: Jazz Legend and Author Jeannie Cheatham at 3:00 p.m. on Friday; a photo seminar with Cannon’s Stacey Foster at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday and fashion shows both Saturday and Sunday at 3:00 p.m., to name a few.

Also appearing at the show, on the Culinary Stage throughout the weekend, include: Kevin Dean of KYXY’s “Kevin’s Kitchen” at noon on Friday; Sam the Cooking Guy at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday; Chef Marcela of Martha Stewart’s Apprentice at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday; The San Diego Union-Tribune’s Maria Hunt with Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday; North County’s Karen England cooking with edible herbs and flowers at 3:45 p.m. on Sunday. Both Saturday and Sunday at 4:00 p.m. attendees can also enjoy a Wine, Cheese & Chocolate Happy Hour. For a full list of show speakers and times, visit www.headtotoewomensexpo.com.

Presented by Ralphs, the Head to Toe Women’s Expo will feature the same great themed villages attendees have come to expect with 300 exhibitors. Attendees will enjoy the creations of 30 fashion designers, an exciting fashion show, gourmet food samples and cooking demonstrations, guest speakers, health and financial resources, home décor items and ideas, and the ultimate pampering – complimentary makeovers and facials. Shopping and lots of gab are just a few ways the ladies of San Diego will be gearing up for the holidays.

The Head to Toe Women’s Expo is a one-stop shop for San Diego women before the holidays and an extraordinary event not to be missed! At the Del Mar Fairgrounds’ Exhibition Hall and Seaside Pavilion, show hours will run: Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets, available at the door, are $7.00 for adults, $6.00 for seniors (on Friday only), and children under 12-years old are free.
