San Diego, Calif. -- The holidays are filled with giving, but before you wrestle the crowds for gifts, bake dozens of holiday cookies and sing festive cheer -- take care of YOU! Pamper yourself before the holiday season begins at the Head to Toe Women's Expo Holiday Show, coming to the Del Mar Fairgrounds, November 10, 11 and 12, 2006.
With the huge success of their first two shows, the Head to Toe Women's Expo expands for its second show of the year, giving women a chance to pamper themselves before the holiday season hits. As San Diego's largest women's event, the Expo continues to grow. This year's February show was up 20 percent, boasting nearly 13,000 attendees, which speaks to the popularity of the female-focused show.
Presented by Ralphs, the Head to Toe Women's Expo will feature the same great themed villages -- Body and Soul City, Glitter Sector, Fashion Metropolis, Wall Street, Home & Hearth Quarters, Culinary Capital and Philanthropic Promenade -- which comprises 300 exhibitors. Guests are encouraged to come early as the first 100 women every day will receive a complimentary gift bag filled with fun gal essentials.
The Head to Toe Women's Expo is a one-stop shop for San Diego women before the holidays. Attendees will enjoy the creations of 30 fashion designers, an exciting fashion show, gourmet food samples and cooking demonstrations, guest speakers, health and financial resources, home décor items and ideas and the ultimate pampering -- complimentary makeovers and facials. Shopping and lots of gab are just a few ways the ladies of San Diego will be spending their time at the Head to Toe Women's Expo.
The inaugural holiday show will also showcase a plethora of local, industry and celebrity chefs, authors and guests, including Shelley Morrison, best known for her role as the Salvadoran maid Rosario Salazar in the NBC comedy television series Will & Grace.
This is an extraordinary event not to be missed! At the Del Mar Fairgrounds' Exhibition Hall and Seaside Pavilion, show hours will run: Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets, available at the door, are $7.00 for adults, $6.00 for seniors (on Friday only), and children under 12-years old are free.
